at the University of Delaware is conducting a plant inventory
of the Fair Hill NRMA. Here is
his current list (caution, file may be too large for a dial-up
connection). GPS positions and locations on the 1998 Fair

Upcoming Events (details)
Annual Hayride Friday, October 10 6pm-8pm
Due to the weather forecast, the hayride is postponned until next Friday, Oct 17,same time
Come enjoy a colorful ride through scenic Fair Hill. We will start at the Nature Center and end at the Pavilion for a bonfire with Hot Chocolate, Hot Dogs and Marshmallows.

Fall Leaf Walk - Saturday, October 11 10:00 - 11:30 am
Hike with our Nature Center teachers along our trails to identify native trees in their full glory. Finish up with leaf printing, either on a t-shirt or sweatshirt you bring, or on our art paper

Wine Tasting & Dinner Event October 11, 2014 5:00 to 8:00 pm
Join us for a delightful autumn evening in support of the
Fair Hill Nature Center. Enjoy dinner, live entertainment and a wine tasting in the beautiful setting of the Dove Valley Winery. Silent Auction, Raffle, 50/50 and more!

Hours of Operation
Weekdays
from mid-March until mid-June and late-August until the end
of November, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Weekdays from mid-June until
end of July, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (closed week of July
4th)
Also, during other hours, weekends and other non-open
days, Board members and staff who are working at the Center
(which is quite often) usually open the doors so the public
can visit. |
